2025-2026 New Students Online Registration Instructions

Admission Procedure:

1. Please read this instruction,complete the online application formand upload your child’s recent digital photo to the online application system for admission registration.
2. After submitting application, parents shall receive the application confirmation through SMS.A non-refundable nor transferable application fee of HK$40should be paid within 5 working days after submission, either by post or in person to the School Office.

Cheques should be crossed and made payable to “Hong Kong Christian Service Pario Kindergarten(Sha Tin)” with child’s name and the date of birth written behind. (not to send cash by post)

3. After the payment of the application fee, parents will receive an acknowledgement of application with your unique application reference number. Please keep for further reference.
4. Our school accept applications throughout the year.  There is no quota set for the application forms distributed or collected. You will be arranged for an interview within two months of registration.

Admission Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Children

1. Arrangement for admission application of Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Children
– When interviewing NCS children, interpretation and/or translation service for applicants will be provided where necessary; or parents and children are allowed to be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend to facilitate communication.

2. Support to non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Children
– In order to promote home-school communication, we provide English version school notices.
– We will translate homework for non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) children if necessary so parents can guide their children to finish the homework at home.

Interview Format

1. Interview Date： 2November, 2024 (Saturday)
   • For the detailed interview arrangement, parents will be informed by the means you selected for receiving information. three weeks before the interview date.
   • Individual interview
   • Mainly in Cantonese (English and Mandarin is available if children are needed)

2.  Regarding to equal admission opportunities, all qualified applicants will be arranged for interview.

• Interview will be arranged for children who are at least 2 years 8 months old on or before 1^st September 2025 only
• Children who absent for the interview without any notification in advance will regard as withdrawal.

3. Admission Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Children

• We arrange interpretation and/or translation service for applicants as necessary, or allow parents and children to be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend during the interview to facilitate communication.

Admission Criteria
1. Child’s performance in the interview.
2. Sibling(s) who are currently studying at our school will considerate in priority.
3. Graduate parent(s) or sibling(s) will considerate in priority.
4. Whole-day class vacancy would be given priority according to family needs (However, places are limited, offers might not be granted even with priority conditions)

Result announcement and Registration Procedure:

1. Notification of Application Result
Result will be informed by mail or email on or before 6th December 2024.

2. Arrangement for Registration
Upon receipt of notification of admission to K1, parents must complete the registration procedures in person at the school during the centralized registration date (Jan 2025) by submitting the ” Registration Certificate” and pay $970(half-day class) / $1,570(full-day class) for “registration fee”.

3. Arrangement for Applicants on the waiting list
Our school will contact you by phone if there be any vacancy after registration day.

4. Arrangement for transferring
If your child wishes to change to another Kindergarten after the completion of registration, please inform our school in writing upon your child’s withdrawal. Our school will contact you in a week after receiving your written request, and return the Registration Certificate to you. Upon getting back the Registration Certificate, our school will no longer reserve the place for the child. Normally, the registration fee paid to our school with which the child has registered will not be refunded.
